High Tech Genesis is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our innovative and fast growing team. If you're passionate about building high quality software solutions and thrive in a collaborative, forward thinking environment, we want to hear from you.

We’re especially interested in developers with hands on experience in Ruby and Golang, who can help us design, build, and optimize modern applications that scale.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, new features to ensure product quality

• Investigate and recommend evolution to the structure of the code base

• Respond to story assignments and coordinate the triage and remediation efforts across the product teams

• Influence and drive operational excellence and standard processes within the organization

• 5+ years of experience in the areas of the feature development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions with a focus on using AI to generate code 

• Reviewing and verifying AI‑generated code for accuracy and correctness

• Experience with Golang

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and RSpec pipelines

• Experience with TypeScript and React toolchains and pipelines

• Experience with Linux and open-source software

• Must possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability to overcome roadblocks

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills to work with cross functional teams in a large organization

• Demonstrated experience designing with simplicity

• Demonstrated energetic attitude; find something – fix something (or raise it immediately)

• Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git, Gitlab, Gerrit, and/or GitHub

• Demonstrated understanding of IP networking and how it works

• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, and/or GitHub

Bonus points for:

• Experience with the use of containers

• Experience with data collection, parsing, and visualization tools such as the Elastic Stack and Grafana

• User Experience and the ability to generate and communicate meaningful development metrics

• Experience or willingness to work in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
