Your responsibilities will include:

• Be responsible for design, testing and documentation for an Access product management card with redesigned processor, ethernet switch, power and FPGA circuits.

• Produce all documentation necessary for delivering new designs to manufacturing

o Design Specification, Block Diagrams, Layout guidance checklist, Verification Plan, Verification Report, RoHS /lifecycle analysis, MTBF, Thermal test report.

• Create schematic and chair reviews (DxDesigner/Pads flow).

• Manage BOM in PD tool after product structure is initially uploaded, Initiating change orders.

• Provide guidance to layout designer on placement and routing.

• Chair layout review(s), capturing actions and showing closure.

• Work with Mechanical designer to ensure new PCBA works within common features of the shelves it will be used in.

• Support the PCB build with manufacturing notes, including helping to define the PCB stackup.

• Support the PCBA build with build notes.

• Do lab hardware verification testing, producing Verification Report and recommendations for any modifications needed to improve the product or fix any issues found in the lab.

• Facilitate transfer of product to manufacturing by creating a Manufacturing Test Requirements document, review test result files.

• Support CLI based testing with test scripts as required or by supporting test engineer as they create them.

• Review new OLT designs for 32P XGSP and 50G Line card (as schedules permit), review Saber designs as time permits.

• If possible, support field investigations by reviewing issues and helping to guide investigations.

Job requirements

• Experience with Hardware design for access product management card – FPGA

• Experience with DXDesigner for creating Schematic and chair reviews

• Experience with PCB

• Experience with Hardware lad verification testing
