Job description

WE'RE HIRING!

At HTG, you’ll push boundaries with the latest tech and collaborate with a team that loves what they do. Be part of a design services company that is amongst the companies that lead the world in technology and innovation.

Your next chapter starts here.

The ASIC/FPGA Engineer will work hands‑on to implement, integrate, and support hardware designs in a collaborative engineering team.

In this role, you will:

• Take high‑level requirements and turn them into concrete, working hardware behavior

• Implement RTL logic (primarily Verilog/SystemVerilog) and drive it through simulation, synthesis, and timing closure

• Work directly with verification, hardware, and support teams to resolve issues and move designs forward

• Support board‑level bring‑up, product integration, and troubleshooting in the lab

• Provide practical technical support to customers, helping diagnose and resolve complex issues

Job requirements

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience building, integrating, and supporting FPGA‑based solutions

• Strong practical experience implementing high‑speed FPGA designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog

• Proven experience delivering complex designs on Xilinx platforms (Vivado, recent device families) or Intel platforms (Quartus, Agilex)

• Comfortable working with asynchronous clock domains and high‑speed serial interfaces in real designs

• Experience working in the lab to bring up hardware, diagnose issues, and debug problems through the system level

• Practical exposure to industry‑standard interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, SPI, I2C, USB, AMBA, and related high‑speed or wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G, O‑RAN)

• Experience supporting verification efforts, testing, or automation through scripting is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team

• Strong scripting skills used to support development, testing, or debug workflows

• Comfortable collaborating across hardware, software, and system teams

• Software experience that helps with integration, debugging, or system‑level understanding is an asset
