Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to provide advanced accounting, financial analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance support within a complex environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical accounting background and the ability to independently manage complex financial transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end activities, audit support, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will analyze financial information, resolve accounting and reporting issues, identify risks and process improvements, and provide guidance related to financial controls, policies, and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex account reconciliations, financial analysis, and journal entry preparation.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including month-end and year-end activities.

  • Review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  • Investigate and resolve accounting, reporting, and financial system issues.

  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable, revenue, payroll-related transactions, and inter-unit accounts.

  • Prepare reconciliations, working papers, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Identify financial risks, control gaps, and opportunities to improve financial processes.

  • Develop and maintain financial procedures, documentation, and reporting tools.

  • Provide guidance on accounting standards, financial policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Support financial system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in financial operations, accounting, financial reporting, and complex reconciliations.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit requirements.

  • Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and month-end/year-end financial activities.

  • Experience with ERP and financial information systems.

  • Experience supporting internal and/or external audits.

  • Experience interpreting and applying accounting standards and financial policies.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound professional judgment.

  • Experience identifying and implementing financial process and control improvements is strongly preferred.
