Job description

Location:         Montreal, QC -Hybrid

Term:               Permanent

High Tech Genesis is seeking to hire a Lead Ecommerce who oversees all digital marketing to drive sales and customer growth, collaborating across departments to align strategy and execution.

 

In this role, you will: 

  • Define the vision, projections, roadmap, and overall eCommerce D2C strategy  

  • Oversee the paid media & performance channels  

  • Build and oversee the eCommerce roadmap, from a business and technological point of view 

  • Work closely with the Content, Experience, Service & Technology teams to deliver new website features and improvements 

  • Manage and work closely with external partners (agencies, technology providers)  

  • Manage a fast-paced growing team 

  • Define and prioritize KPIs to manage eCommerce operations 

  • Track performance on an ongoing basis, report to internal stakeholders and build actions plans to improve performance and ROI 

  • Share eCommerce best practices and act as a thought leader to all internal stakeholders

Job requirements

• Proven track record of 7+ years of eCommerce experience

• Deep understanding of Martech, traffic acquisition, CRO and eCommerce best practices

• Proven track record of leveraging automation within user acquisition strategy

• Strong understanding of performance modeling and analytics

• Experience in electric vehicles, solar or energy management industries considered an asset

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, or a related field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner. Strong presentation skills

• Proven leadership and team management skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and managing a cohesive, high-performing team

• HR-related experience including hiring, managing, performance reviews

• Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines
