Electrical Field Engineer

Location:         San Francisco California, USA (Hybrid)

Term:               Permanent

HTG is looking to hire an Electrical Field Engineer who will drive installer channel sales by delivering hands-on field training across the U.S.

In this role, you will: 

• Deliver on-customer premise training of new installers during onboarding

• Provide technical support during installer sales outreach

• Provide troubleshooting services

• Provide on-demand technical support during demos and across partner channels as needed.

• 3 years of demonstrated experience supporting the sales, installation, and troubleshooting of innovative residential and/or energy products

• Working knowledge of US electrical code

• Working knowledge of power electronics

• Knowledge of EV charging communication protocols (ISO 15118) and DER integration protocols (IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR)

• Working knowledge of IoT communication protocols

• Ability and willingness to travel; 85%+ in the US

• Bachelors in Engineering from top tier university or equivalent
