In this role, you will: 

  • Architect and code data structure from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau

  • Implement best practices for the data platform that provides maintainability, reliability, and efficiency

  • Provide expertise in data warehouse modeling and development for Snowflake using dbt

  • Exercise best practices in optimal Data modeling for nonuniform sets of data

  • Provide best practices for source code control with Github

  • Design and Maintain data security access controls

  • Develop SQL, HTML, and/or Javascript code to optimize the stack or to generate views for visualization

  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver to respective stakeholders

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data developers

Job requirements

  • 10-12 years Data Engineering Development and visualization experience

  • 8-10 years of Data Warehouse experience is required. Snowflake DWH is preferred

  • 8-10 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL is preferred

  • Experience with the following Enterprise systems: SalesForce, Oracle, Workday, Jira, Adaptive, Anaplan

  • 4-6 years of dbt Cloud experiences, semantic layer experience is a plus

  • 3-5 years of building Tableau Data Sources and dashboarding

  • 2+ years of Python development

  • HTML and Javascript experiences as it relates to Looker are preferred

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills

  • 3-5 years of experience with Github.

  • 3-5 years of experience with CI/CD tools for the modern data stack

  • BS in Computer Science. The emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus
