Senior Software Engineer in Cloud

Location: Costa Rica

Term: Contract

HTG is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build a cloud platform for all our products. Join our talented team to create tools for a cutting-edge DevSecOps platform. If you're experienced in cloud-native development, thrive in fast-paced environments, and can build scalable, production-ready apps, we want you!

This person will lead with expertise in:

• Develop new software features, including APIs, integrations, and web interfaces.
• Deliver features and updates to the infrastructure.
• Supporting and contributing to software design, architecture, and enhancements.
• Maintains stability of platforms, applications, services, and systems.

• Strong experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Strong experience programming with Go
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• 3-5+ years working in software development
• Coach engineers to develop best practices in software development
• May coordinate and define activities of other engineers
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired skills:

Experience with any of the following technologies would be an asset:

• OTA technologies
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Bash and/or Python scripting
• IaC like Terraform and Helm Charts
• OpenAPI/Swagger
• ORMs, SQL and DB migrations
• Git workflows
• Jira, Agile and Scrum
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
