We have an EXCITING opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join one of Canada’s fastest growing Information and Technology team located in Toronto!


  • Finds solutions to meet and constantly improve system performance and uptime.
  • Recommends enhancements to meet new or changing system demands.
  • Establishes the setup, configuration and care required for new and/or upgraded servers/systems/applications according to industry best practices and/or standards, and where required, establish database connectivity.
  • Creates and take care of system-related documentation to facilitate implementation and/or adoption of system changes.
  • Executes setup, configuration and constant monitoring of Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Performs setup, configuration and ongoing monitoring of office 365 environment. (i.e. email monitoring, configuration of security settings, event log and backup monitoring).
  • Skilled in designing, and implementing MDM solutions such as JAMF and SOTI.
  • Plan, create, employ web application servers onto the internet ensures redundancy.
  • Responsible for constant system maintenance of servers including general server cleanup and system monitoring to make certain that adequate disk space and memory exist to meet day-to-day needs of each office.
  • Guarantees server security compliance conforms to and/or go beyond industry best practices.
  • Managing lead for all key IT-supported subsystems for example Office 365, SQL Servers, Windows 2003-2016 Servers.
  • Track projects and system incidents through to resolution via the IT ticket tracking system and the various IT Logs.
  • Actively looks for opportunities to improve system and application efficiencies.
  • Leads, evaluates, determines, develops, design and keenly looks at how to refine and/or implement system/application efficiencies.
  • Performs setup, configuration and constant care of storage infrastructure. (i.e. NetApp, HP 3PAR SAN,).
  • Setup and Maintain RHEL 6 and 7 Linux instances.


Must have:

• 7 to 10 years progressive Infrastructure admin experience.

• 6+ years with Windows Server/Storage administration, analysis, or engineering.

• Dev-Ops Background preferred.

• MCSE certification

• Microsoft and / or VMware certifications preferred

• Cisco UCS and FlexPod architecture support experience

• Proficiency with storage architecture and SAN technology (Nimble, HP 3PAR,).

• Familiarity with MDM solutions such as JAMF and SOTI.

• Understanding with installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and managing server environments.

• In-depth knowledge of storage protocols FC/iSCSI/NFS/, FC switches and zoning configuration, RAID levels.

• 3PAR, Nimble and other enterprise SANs

• Excellent ability to utilize available tools to effectively obtain results.

• Demonstrated proficiency using Windows applications (Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, etc.).

Nice to have:

• Hands on experience and a understanding of numerous aspects of Information Technology.

• Web and API development experience is a plus.

• Skilled in VMware VCP an asset.

• Excellent network architecture and support experience.
